"Behold, children are a gift of the LORD; the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one's youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them..." Psm 127

College Bound!

I can't believe my #3 is almost done with highschool and going away for college! Her older sisters lived at home for 2 years and went to school in San Antonio first. It seems like yesterday that Kimberly and her cousin, Dana, were playing with dolls (Kimmi and Hopey-back then). It's so weird to see the family changing! Jamie's married and a mom, Robin has just finished college and starting an internship before she goes on to who knows where and now Kimberly will be going to school 4 hours away. She plans to visit Jamie on some weekends and will come home for special occassions. She's already planning to come home for Jonathan's first football game that will be in the Alamo Dome! Kaitlin will also be playing on the field at half time with the Mighty Tigers Band! Of course, she has no idea of what her schedule will be yet. We are trying to get room deposits and financial stuff all done. What a chore! We couldn't be more proud of how she has "turned out"! She loves the Lord and is planning already to be involved in the BSM and in the local 1st Baptist Church. :) She will be leaving in just a few short weeks to go on a mission trip (with Dana!) to the Ukraine! I'm sure she will come home with a broadened outlook on life and the world we live in and with a new perspective on God's plan for her life. I know she'll do well in school. I know she'll work hard. I just pray she continues her walk with the Lord everday and serves Him in all she does. I've got a pretty good feeling about that, too! :)
